Eligibility

The calculation includes registered official participants with a final score above zero in contests ending after this feature's rollout. Zero-score and unofficial participants, scoreboard exclusions, actively sanctioned accounts, and contest dummy accounts are excluded from both the headcount and payouts.

$N$ is the eligible headcount and $B$ is the reference budget before rounding.

Formula

1. Assign the base reward

   Each eligible participant first receives $1\,\mathrm{T}$. The remaining budget distributed by exponential weight is $R_0=29N$.

2. Calculate rank weights

   An exponential weight of 0.9 is applied from first place downward. Each position receives 90% of the preceding position's weight.

3. Distribute the remaining budget

   Let $A$ be the set of positions that have not reached the cap. The calculated reward for each position is:

Ties and rounding

Participants with identical total scores and penalties share the same rank. The pre-rounding rewards for all occupied positions are averaged, and every tied participant receives the same amount. Each final payout is rounded up to a whole Token.

Because rewards are rounded individually, the actual payout total $P$ lies in the following range. The 500 T individual cap still applies.

Settlement timing

Settlement runs once after the contest has ended, no personal contest window remains active, and all contest submissions have finished judging. A frozen scoreboard delays payouts until its reveal is complete. The payout snapshot stores the final score and penalty used at settlement.

Later rejudging or rank changes do not retroactively revoke or add Tokens.
